BOAS — Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome
Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome is common in French Bulldogs, Pugs, British Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs. It is a combination of narrow nostrils, long soft palate, everted lymph tissue, spinal abnormalities and gastric reflux that causes them to snore and struggle to breathe.
